Microsoft Office 365 refers to a group of software applications and services, including the Microsoft Office suite. This page provides instructions for using the Office 365 portal to install the Microsoft Office applications on the following platforms:
- Mac
- Windows PC
- Mobile devices (Android, iOS, Windows)

Considerations before Installing
1) If upgrading, it is recommended that you
uninstall the older version of Microsoft Office first.
2) If you already have Office 2011 or Office 2013 installed, you do not need to re-install.
3) To verify how many licensed machines are in use under your account or to deactivate a machine, log in to the Office 365 Portal and navigate to the Office 365 Software Settings page:

Other install options to Office 365 Settings to setup:
Click on the Software tab on the left panel to choose the software available for your operating system:
A) Software available for Mac:
- Choose software and click Install or for OneNote navigate to the app store get software
- Once software installer is downloaded, select the MicrosoftOffice2011.dmg file to launch, accept the license agreements, and follow prompts to install.

B) Software Available for Windows PCs:
- Choose your language and version (32-bit or 64-bit) then click the Install button.
- Once the .exe downloads, choose Run or double click to launch. Accept License Agreement and follow prompts to finish installation.
- For reference, here are Microsoft's Office 365 for Business installation instructions.
- NOTE: You cannot mix and match 32-bit and 64-bit applications. It is recommended you choose one or the other based on your Windows Operating System.
C) Software available for phones and tablets:
- Choose your phone or tablet from the list
- Click Get Apps button and follow instructions presented for your device.
